RAINWORTH MW 1 GLAPWELL FC 1
Ive not been to Rainworth MW FC for some time and have gone through a rough couple of years falling in to the Nottinghamshire Football League(Seniors), whilst Glapwell FC have been playing at Mansfield Hosiery Mills in the Central Midlands Alliance North Division.
Rainworth have appointed a new manager Damon Parkinson, he has also bought some new players in.
This friendly was quickly arranged after Lincoln United had to pull out of tomorrows game.
The game began with Rainworth on the attack, but it was the visitors who took the lead in their first attack, when the ball was played back to the home keeper only to see it roll over his foot and the Glapwell number 9 tap in to a empty net affter 10 minutes, this aseemed to boost Glapwell as they pressed forward with a couple of missed chances.
The Second Half saw the game from end to end with both sides missing chances or defending well.
On 62 minutes, the homesters were level when number 17 spun on the edge of the box and fired home.
Both sides had chances to win it, but a draw was a very fair result.
